This may just be the most radical yet.
According to reports, Lionel Messi has splashed the cash on the legendary 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, which set him back a huge 32 million euros.
The buyer of the classic car has remained anonymous, but claims suggest it could be Messi, according to a press releasepublished by the Italian’s company
Proto Organisation also say Cristiano Ronaldo was interested in the car (which was driven by Sterling Moss in the Cuban Grand Prix in 1958), but Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi won the bidding.
The bidding began at 20 million euros but was finally sold at a staggering 32 million euros.
Although claims suggest Messi was the buyer, sources close to him suggest the Barcelona star isn’t the anonymous buyer of the car. Who do we believe?
