President John Dramani Mahama on Friday, May 15 presided over the signing of a Peace and Reconciliation Agreement in Mali?s capital of Bamako.
President Mahama?s gesture was exercised in his capacity as Chair of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of Ecowas.
?The agreement follows an Inter-Malian Dialogue that started in July, 2014 in Algiers,? a statement on the Presidency?s portal said.
President Mahama is expected to return immediately.
