Mobile Parliamentarians (MPs), a group of Media and Public Relations practitioners in Ghana, as part of its social responsibility activities, is responding to calls from stakeholders and the Ministry of Health to help victims of last week?s flood and fire disasters.
According to the leader of the group, Jeorge Wilson Kingson: ?As media practitioners, we believe that in perilous times such as we find ourselves as a nation, our mandate extends beyond reporting news. We see the need to get involved in the process of restoring our situation to normalcy and extending a helping hand to those in need, because it could have been any of us. We will be donating blood at the 37 Military Hospital this Saturday, 13th June and we encourage all Ghanaians and other well-meaning groups to join us save lives that are on the edge.?
We acknowledge efforts of other media outfits, corporate Ghana and all who have taken the initiative to assist victims of the two disasters in one way or another. We encourage other stakeholders to emulate these socially responsible gestures and reach out to the victims.
Mobile Parliamentarians are committed to providing cutting-edge professionalism in the media and public relations industries in Ghana.
