
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa?ad Abubakar lll, will on Thursday, Dec. 26, officially declare open the 96th Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) of the Muslim Students? Society of Nigeria (MSSN), B Zone, in Ibadan.
In a statement issued in Ibadan on Wednesday, Alhaji Mushafau Alaran, the MSSN B Zone Coordinator, said that the theme of the course is “Survival??.
Alaran said that the opening ceremony would hold at the permanent site of the MSSN at Molisa Village, km 30, Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
He said the Sultan, who is the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), would be accompanied by prominent Islamic leaders in the South West.
They include Alhaji AbdulAzeez Arisekola-Alao and Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Deputy President General, and Secretary General of the Council, respectively
Alaran said that Alhaji Shuaib Salisu, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Ogun State governor, would deliver a lecture entitled “Survival?? at the conference.
Other expected guests are governors Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo states.
