
Pro athletes aren’t exactly known for being the best financial managers (sorry, Lenny Dykstra), so we’re not sure that NBA vet DeShawn Stevenson apparently installing an ATM in his kitchen is the best idea. We wonder if Stevenson, who made $2.5 million with the New Jersey Nets this past season, scans his checks into the ATM while waiting for his morning coffee to brew.
Having such easy access to his cash could be worrisome if he empties it out before each night on the town, but the machine could also be a money-making venture if he sets it up to charge a high transaction fee. Let’s see how it goes.
