A new, almost literally unbelievable new study says that talking on a cellphone actually might not result in a higher risk of crashing your car. The study, published in American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, analyzed years of accident reports and cellphone data. Researchers also found no decrease in accidents in states in which legislation outlawed cellphone use behind the wheel. One scientist said: ?One thought is that drivers may compensate for the distraction of cellphone use by selectively deciding when to make a call or consciously driving more carefully during a call.?[Source]
