The strike by clerks, which began on May 9, was suspended for two months to give a chance to dialogue with the justice ministry.
Guinea’s court clerks went on strike to demand better living and working conditions, similar to other workers in the justice ministry such as magistrates and judges.
While speaking to local media, the head of the court clerk’s association, Bandiou Doumbouya, said talks with the government were “going on very well”.
