Iran should take advantage of ongoing nuclear talks to find a peaceful, “diplomatic resolution” to its deadlock with world powers, urges US President Barack Obama.
“This can only take place if Iran takes this historic opportunity,” he told the United Nations General Assembly.
“My message to Iran’s leaders and people has been simple and consistent: do not let this opportunity pass. We can reach a solution that meets your energy needs while assuring the world that your programme is peaceful.”
