27-year-old Enoch Kofi Owusu, a former cuddy registered yesterday an impressive 64 NET score winner emerges into the President’s Putter on the Tema country Golf Club (TCGC).


And for his brilliance, he received a trophy and a ’21 inch television in the men’s group ‘A’ event.
EK Ocansey 67, beat Afriyie Nyarko on count back to pick the runner-up prize.
The men’s group ‘B’  category saw  Gupta T returning a 68 net score to emerge winner, while Kofi Ampaw and Achimota’s competition secretary Aseidu Ofei finishing second and third with 68 and 71 scores respectively.
Both took home trophies and rice cookers.
Aku Yaba E won the lady’s ‘A’ event  with a score of 73, and for her outstanding play, she left the course with a ’21 inch television and a trophy, while  young Jessica
Tei and Ann Brown followed in that order.
Grace Amoah reigned supreme in the lady’s Group ‘B’ event, beating  Helen Appah by two strokes.
Club captain Dr Owusu Baah congratulated all the golfers from far and near who participated in the competition. He commended president of the club, Yin, for sponsoring the event which drew close to 200 golfers.
Meanwhile, the club will host the next edition of the Lipton Bi-Monthly on April 14, and follow it with the Captain’s Prize on April 21.
