This is out finally! The video for the official theme song for the Black Stars’ Brazil 2014 World Cup campaign is out. The video was presented to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Stanbic at the Bank?s Head Office on Friday June 13, 2014.
Titled ?Shine-4-Africa?,?the song?which was produced by?Showbiz Africa?and?MUSIGA, originally features such music heavyweights as?Kojo Antwi,?Sarkodie,?Noble Nketsiah,?Samini?and?Obour.?Other stars on the songs include?Edem,?Sherifa Gunu,?Efya,?Qweci Oteng,Chemphe,?Nana Boroo,?Skinny?Legend?and?Tic Tac.
The song?also has a poetic interlude by?Nenebi. It was produced by 3-time VGMA-winning producer of the year, Kaywa; with production support by Oteng.
Prior to this presentation, 100 copies were presented to the Black Stars before they left Ghana to start camping for the World Cup.
Skipper?Asamoah Gyan?who received the CDs on behalf of the players said, ?I am very grateful at this gesture, that our friends in music, who I am also part of, have made this great song for us. We will listen to it before every match.?
Stanbic Bank, as part of their support for Ghana?s world Cup Campaign, paid for the technical production of?the song, which saw all artistes perform at no charge.
