Ghana Defender John Paintsil has revealed that the next destination of his NGO, Paintsil Peace Kids Projects (PPKP) is the United States of America.
The PPKP ?train? after two successful events in the Brong Ahafo and Central regions in the last three years, will land in the United States in August.
President of the NGO, Paintsil, pointed out in an exclusive interview: ?Moving this year?s event to the US forms part of our plans to spread our tentacles to most parts of the World.
?We were scheduled to stage this year?s event in Tamale but circumstances beyond our control didn?t permit us. We?re hoping to make it up to the kids in the US event,? he added.
PPKP is an initiative conceived by the Ghana defender to instill discipline, respect, humility, vision and other virtues in kids.
?You know kids all over the world look up to people like us, so I thought it prudent to avail myself, so through PPKP, they will grow up as better citizens.
?On the day of the event, we use football to teach the kids in a particular locality social virtues. I see this project as my widow?s mite to society,? said the former Fulham defender.
Paintsil is currently a free agent but has given the assurance of landing a contract with a foreign club very soon.
