Recover arms from the vandals in Ikorodu
Eight persons have been nabbed by the police in Lagos State for alleged pipeline vandalism.
The suspected vandals were arrested in the Ikorodu area of the state by operatives attached to the Special Task Force on Anti-Pipeline Vandalism.
The police officers also impounded three commercial buses conveying 150-litre jerry-cans and dangerous weapons allegedly used for operations.
Friday Ibadin, the head of the Task Force, added that a locally-made pistol and five cartridges were also recovered during patrol of the area.
