The President of the Republic has revoked the appointment of Sarah Adwoa Safo as the minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection with immediate effect.
A statement released by the Director of Communications at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin, indicate that the Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament (MP) seizes to be the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection whilst the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaa continues to act as caretaker minister until the President appoints a substantive minister for that ministry.
