The Adenta Divisional Police Commander DSP. Stephen Kofi Ahiafatu has send a stern warning to land guards who think Adenta and its environs is a fine and fertile ground for them to operate.
Speaking to The Moment New paper at Adenta, Dsp Ahiafatu said the police has enough men to deal with the situation because this robbers and the land guards who ferment trouble don?t even live around Adenta.
The police, he said, will organize a swoop in the Adenta Municipality, where suspected criminals will be chased and apprehended and suspected India hemp dealers will be arrested in the municipality.
The Adenta District Police Command has recorded a significant drop in robbery cases within the Community.
?We are aware of the ever changing dynamics in criminal activities and well prepared to keep our country safe,??he said, saying that the pragmatic measures put in place such as constant police patrol and visibility of police men in the area and the introduction of motor bike patrol will go a long way to help reduce crime perpetuation to the minimum in the municipality.
The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has intensified its activities to control crime has added another four patrol vehicles to the only one patrol vehicle used by the Adenta police command.
Mr. Ahiafatu was very optimistic that with the set up action plan set for this Christmas celebration, no negative minded person who will try to ferment trouble in Adenta will have it easy at all with the police. We will ensure a peaceful Christmas celebration, as police patrol teams have been deployed to operate day and night services, in an effort to protect people.
