Mr. Danquah’s proposal was borne out of the request by the Justice Dzamefe Commission of Inquiry which was set up by the President to investigate the cacophony which engulfed the Ghana Black Stars at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The three-man led commission advised that the strategic marketing paper should examine;
(a) Merchandising of national team paraphernalia, etc.; and
(b) Isolation and enhancement of the positive brand attributes of the various national teams and the marketing of same.
