A renowned kano state politician under the plat form of APC Hajiya Sadiya Dauda has called on aggrieved APC members in kano whom are at the verge of defecting from the party to desist from the habit of criticizing the executive gov of the state Engr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso as a result of not achieving some of their personal selfish interests. She said kano is for APC and no one can change that fact.
The Party (APC) has been facing serious internal crisis since the present governor appointed his deputy Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to be the party’s governatorial candidate. The situation became worst when another right hand man of kwankwaso Prof. Hafiz was choosen as Ganduje’s running mate. This other persons from other parties that came together to form the APC considered as unfair as they were all hoping that the deputy post will come to them and comrade abdulraham Kawu Sumaila was the person whom they were ready to support. They aggrieved members expresses displeasure over how kwankwaso brought in his on candidate to succeed him to the detriment of others.
APC in kano has since be devided into two house namely APC kwankwasiya and APC Legacy. APC kwankwasiya are those who are in full support of the present governor and all his policies and decision making and are ready to do anything possible to see that the Governor’s candidate succeed him. While those who call themselves The APC legacy Party are those members whom are not in support of the governor but are fully in support of Gen. Muhammad Buhari and have vowed to bring to an end the reign of APC in kano. They said it is better for PDP to win this Year’s election in kano than APC to win because of Kwankwaso’s betryal.
Hajiya Sadiya said the people of the state should not allow the aggrieved members of the party to decieve them into voting anyother party in the state apart of APC and should also cast their votes for Buhari as he is the only person who can save Nigeria from all its trouble particularly the issue of insecurity in the country.
She also called on Nothern leaders to unite and support Buhari in this year’s election and find a lasting solution to all the numerous problem bedeviling the North.
