Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Papaye Fast Foods Samir Kalmoni has been honoured for his works in the restaurant industry with the conferment of an honorary doctorate degree.
The degree, which was conferred on him by the Global Centre for Transformational Leadership, was in recognition of his relentless efforts in the promotion of quality service delivery in the restaurant and hospitality industry in the country.
The award came with a certificate of recognition, a scroll and citation which espoused the leadership and excellent human relationship credentials of Mr. Kalmoni.
Receiving the award, he said: ?I am very happy to be a recipient of this prestigious award. I hope this award will spur me on to work harder and do more to benefit Ghana.?
Chairman of the Global Centre for Transformational Leadership, Reverend Godwin Davids who presented the award, said Mr. Kalmoni has distinguished himself as “a leader par excellence and is deserving of the honour”.
The citation presented read: ?For your outstanding leadership qualities that have impacted positively on your life, others, the society and the nation, the institution proudly confers on you an Honorary Doctor of Leadership.?
The Centre then presented a prize to his fast-food retailing business, Papaye Fast Foods, for being a leader in the industry.
