Like Carl Jung, I am fascinated by the idea that fairy tales and fables are the cardinal principles of the Nefarious Destructive Cancer, now led by the greatest conjurer in the history of the country, President Judgment Debt Monster.
There is palpable fear in the country: The silence and inability of majority of Ghanaians to express themselves openly for fear of their lives is becoming more pernicious and worrisome. In the last couple of days, I have heard some colleagues of mine expressing fears on some threatening messages they have been receiving in their e-mail (in box).
There is this particular number 0509898198 which was used to call me on Thursday, 13th November, 2012 at about 12.48pm. After answering the phone, the caller refused to talk. When I asked who the caller was, there was hilarious laughter and I could sense somebody was attempting to do a recording. There was this clicking sound at intermittent intervals at the caller?s end. My sixth sense quickly took over and I left the building to stay outside. I left the phone on for about three minutes during which time the caller continued to laugh and made some unintelligible noises. I asked the caller to identify himself, but he refused. But the voice at the background was definitely that of a male.
My focus today is to debunk the lies, misrepresentations, falsehood and dangerous route Judgement Debt Monster is taking the country through. It will surely lead us not to the land flowing with milk and honey but to Golgotha where there is yawning, tears, and gnashing of teeth. This has to do with his allegation that the NPP looted public lands in the country.
Okudzeto Ablakwa has proved himself to be the Beelzebub of all liars in the world. Every single day Okudzeto Ablakwa spends on earth, his lies and atrocities compound at the rate of Geographical progression. And by January 7, 2013 when by the Grace of God Almighty, Nana would be inaugurated as President of Ghana, there will be no container or silo to harbour all the lies and reckless statements our Chemical Ali has concocted against mother Ghana.
Attempts were made to manipulate the Registration Process: It will interest readers that during the registration Exercise, Our Chemical Ali, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, together with his partner-in-Crime, Yaw Boateng Gyan, a member of the Al-Qaeda and Boko Haram Group attempted and in some cases succeeded in recruiting registration officials who were trained to manipulate the electoral process in favour of the Nefarious Contraption. Okudzeto and Yaw Boateng Gyan as usual will deny this but they will be exposed at the appropriate time.
Okudzeto Ablakwa published list: The question to ask is this: should Okudzeto Ablakwa be the one to publish the list. Why not allow the Lands Commission to publish the entire list for all to see. And in anyway, why should the list cover only the period between 2001 and 2008? Do Okudzeto Ablakwa and his conscienceless members of the nefarious contraption want to tell us that only those people got state lands during the 8 years the NPP Government was in power? What happened during the PNDC era? What about NDC 1 and 2 periods under Baba Go Slow and the Judgement Debt Monster?
Okudzeto Ablakwa did not do credit to himself: Lets even concede the fact that the NPP did what Okudzeto and co say the party did but which is a blatant lie, was it not one of the reasons why the party was voted out of power? Wherein lies the need to bring back the issue at this time? And what has your party done to plug all those loopholes you alleged (not proven) the NPP manipulated to its advantage. The wisest thing for you, Okudzeto Ablakwa to have done was to publish a list of all those who have been allotted State lands since your contraption came to power this second time around.
Inconsistencies and Illogicalities:? Okudzeto Ablakwa stated that Akua Kuenyehia, Dean of Faculty of Law, Legon was an NPP Supporter on based on the mere fact that she was nominated by ex President Kufuor to the International Criminal Court in the Hague. This fallacy is enough to reveal the shallow mindedness of this Deputy Government Image Maker. When the NPP came to power in 2001, it decided to have an all-embracing government from all political parties including even the Nefarious Destructive Cancer.
Ex President Kufuor and his Government lobbied for Dr Ibn Chambas to be appointed Secretary General of ECOWAS; Ex President Kufuor appointed P.V. Obeng to head Ghana National Investment Council,; Mike Gizo was made a member of the Ghana Energy Board; NPP government put its weight behind Mr. Ekow Spio Garbrah?s? UN appointment; Professor Hagan, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom and some PNC Parliamentarians as well as Independent Candidates were given Ministerial and other positions under the NPP administration. Is Chemical Ali suggesting that all those people Kufuor nominated, recommended or appointed into his cabinet and other public institutions automatically became members or supporters of the New Patriotic Party?
Why was Abu Sakara?s name put on the list? Is Dr. Abu Sakara the only non NPP member who bought State Land during the NPP tenure? The reason is not farfetched. It was brought in to settle cheap political scores. After the inconclusive December 2008 Presidential Elections, the NDC approached the CPP to officially throw its weight behind the NDC. Dr Abu Sakara stood his ground and spoke vehemently against any alliance with your one engine jet liner. And so, with you in the saddle of the nation?s affairs, you feel it is pay back time; hence the inclusion of his name.
Again, if you Okudzeto Ablakwa had done due diligence, you would not have described Dr Abu Sakara as Vice Presidential Candidate of the CPP. We are dealing with the present and the current nomenclature of Abu Sakara ought to be Flag bearer of the Convention Peoples Party. In his utter desperation to pay back Abu Sakara in his own coin, our Chemical Ali quickly jumped at the opportunity when he chance upon the name of the CPP candidate and shouted, ?Eureka, Eureka? ?I have found it; Indeed I have found it. Thank God I have found it?.
Due Diligence was thrown to the dogs: On Chemical Ali?s list, the location and premium of some allottees were indicated against their names but he, either because of mischief or the zeal to paint such people in bad light, forget one cardinal principle of success which is to be always be in control of your emotions. Extreme hatred for the NPP and its members got the better part of him and he ended up being consumed by extreme hatred. For example Number 11 had the allottee at Urban Roads ? Danyane 2004). Both the location and the premium were omitted. In the case of Number 21 which was allocated to De Joyce Dantwi of 02 Militia Close at Ridge our Chemical Ali deliberately refuse to mention the premium to be paid.
When you get to the second list, Numbers 1 ? 11 and 15 -17 did not have any location. You provided names of allottees only. 12, 13 and 14 had venues attached to names. In other words, one would wonder where those plots of lands could be found and if the issue were to be sent to the law courts to adjudicate, it would be knocked out on technical grounds. Okudzeto Ablakwa has done a shoddy job for which he should not be commended. But knowing the NDC for what it is, they will be clapping for him. But do we blame them? No, because the party is mostly made up of mediocrities for if a whole party?s women?s organizer Anita De Souza could say ?return back? what would happen to a vast majority of the people. It is no wonder that the party is strongly opposed to the Free Quality SHS Education.
There is a convention to buck up such purchases: Let me state here for the avoidance of doubts that technically, there is nothing wrong with people being given protocol allocation. The (P)NDC promulgated the law on that. Both members of the PNDC and the NDC enjoyed such largesse. The PNDC also promulgated the law which allowed officials to buy state properties which they have been using. If the NDC felt that the law was bad, they should have expunged it from the statute books. They should have done it with retrospective effect so that all those who have taken advantage of the law to acquire state properties including lands, buildings and vehicles would have them revert to the state. But the two NDC administrations have not done that
Justice Selective at its worst: A lot of State properties have been auctioned amongst NDC apparatchiki?s at ridiculously very low prices. The SSNIT Flats at Sakumono were originally meant for the use of Members of Parliament. They were not meant for outward sale to any Member of Parliament. But the NDC members of Parliament at the end of the tenure of the First Parliament of the Third Republic partitioned the buildings amongst themselves the same way as European Colonial Powers did with African Lands.
Do these people love Ghana? Let NDC Members of Parliament occupying the SSNIT Flats at Sakumono show documents to prove that they legally acquired the plots and embarked on the constructions of those buildings. Are the plots and building not state properties? If the NDC claims to be a people oriented government? let it organize a referendum on it and if majority is against such illegal acquisition, let Government set in motion mechanism to get those assets back to the State.
Late President Mills also acquired State Land: Who gave the plots of land on which the late President put up his buildings at Ofankor? We all know that the portion of land was allocated to University of Ghana, Legon. Was the late President synonymous with University of Ghana? But a few greedy and selfish people sat together to apportion the land amongst themselves through a system they erroneously termed balloting. That was similar to what Europeans did with African lands. But the late President got more than three plots. If the people who shared the land amongst themselves were patriotic and not selfish, they would have extended the barometre further to enable other lecturers to also benefit from the largesse.
Again if those people had allowed the principle of natural justice to prevail, they would have recommended that those plots of land be used to construct halls of residence to accommodate the teeming number of university students.? If they had done just that, the acute accommodation problems now facing the university would have been nipped in the bud the very moment they reared their ugly heads. But as we can see, those greedy and selfish individuals lacked foresight and did not look beyond their noses.
Samuel Ofosu Ampofo: He is the NDC Minister of Local Government and a ?fugitive? from Fanteakwa Constituency and now seeking ?refugee status? in Tema. He says he is currently residing in a rented apartment and questioned if putting up a house was such a wrong thing to do. He explained that it was a six bedroom and not an 8 bedroom apartment.
But was it not he, Ofosu Ampofo who was jumping from one radio station to the other accusing NPP of looting and said as a social democrat, he cared more about the people than himself. Why didn?t he build the house before but waiting until he became a Minister? Is this a mark of a social democrat? Definitely, no!
Betty Mould Iddrissu:? When she was appointed Minister of Education, after her mediocre performance at the Ministry of Justice, she looted the Education Minister?s office of all furniture, rugs, window blinds and curtains. Those items were sent to a location of her choice and new ones purchased to replace those she had looted.
A tall list of embezzlers of State Funds:? From which source did Ama Benyiwa Doe, Hanna Bissiw, John Abu Jinapor, Elvis Afriyie Ankra, Okudzeto Ablakwa and many of his contemporaries get money to purchase or put up mansions in different parts of the country and the world? Do their salaries commensurate with the type of ostentatious life they are leading?
The Late Madam Fathia Nkrumah?s house: Madam Fathia Nkrumah, wife of late President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah was allocated a bungalow by the late Head of State, General Ignatius Kutu Acheampong. But doesn?t it seem a mockery or hypocrisy that the very people who confiscated the building from her are the very people who showered praises on her when she passed on some few years after.? That house was re-assigned to Justice D.F.Anang.
I could imagine how the wife of the late President might have felt when she had to take care of Goke, Gamel, Sekou and Samiah (all children of the late President Nkrumah) without any roof over their heads. Ghanaians, be not be deceived for that was how the Nefarious Destructive Cancer treated the wife and children of your First President. And yet, these people have the guts and temerity to thump their chests and declare they are true democrats!
Oh I forgot to tell you. This is just the beginning and a tip of the iceberg.? Stay on for the second part of this epistle.
