Students and lecturers of the University of Jos, Plateau State, were thrown into confusion over a bomb scare and were all fleeing the premises of the institution.
The alleged bomber thought to be in possession of Improvised Explosive Device, IED was rumoured to have been arrested at the institution?s Faculty of Education.
The suspected bomber who was reluctant to be searched, it was later gathered, was in possession of a polythene bag containing garri and milk.
The people around were surprised at the turn of events and had to calm others who had earlier scampered for safety at the initial thought of being bombed.
The students had earlier been hinted that a bomb explosive was planted at the department which was the reason the security operatives were keen on knowing the content of the polythene bag.
