Teko Modise is captain of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mamelodi Sundowns skipper Teko Modise says they are ready to kick-off their Ghana pre-season tour with victory against Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.
The South African side began training at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
They will put their campaign into full gear when they play the former African champions in the first of three friendly matches.
Modise says they are primed for the big showdown against the Phobians.
?We are ready for Hearts tomorrow (Wednesday). We started training only on Monday but we?ll be ready by Wednesday,? Modise said.
?We know the pedigree of Hearts but we also want to be in the best shape ahead of the start of the new South African season.
?We watched the MTN FA Cup final between Kotoko and Medeama and it was a good spectre of Ghanaian football.
The Chloorkop-based side will also engage Kotoko on 21 July in Kumasi before wrapping up their tour with the final friendly against Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast on July 24.
They depart Accra on July 25.
