The Syrian army on Saturday warned foreign countries against violating the Syrian airspace, saying that it will treat it as “foreign aggression.”

The air defenses have been ordered to get ready to open fire on any foreign warplane violating the Syrian airspace, the army said in a military statement.

The warning comes as Turkey claimed on Thursday that its airstrikes killed 50 Syrian soldiers in northern Syria.

It also comes as Israel has repeatedly struck military positions in the country. Enditem
