Tandoh resigned from Hearts, wasn't sacked W.O Tandoh supervising Hearts‘ warm up exercise

Warrant Officer Tandoh insists he resigned from his post as physical instructor of Hearts of Oak and was not sacked as has been widely reported.

The retired Army Officer tended in his resignation letter on Thursday and is awaiting response.

Tandoh who has spent five seasons with the Phobians was reported to have been sacked in the local press as a purported power struggle wages on in Hearts? technical team.

However a letter dated October 25 cited by GHANAsoccernet.com, reveals Tandoh actually resigned and was not sacked.

?With great delight, I am glad to inform you of my resignation from our famous club as a physical trainer,? excerpts of Tandoh?s resignation letter dated 25th October, 2012 read.

?This decision has become very necessary on personal grounds.

?I wish to tell thank board, management, supporters and all who loved our dear club for the opportunity given me to work.

?For any reason, if I stepped on a toe while working, it was for the good of all.?

Hearts are currently hovering above the relegation zone haven lost three successive league games and with a paltry four points out of a possible 15.
