Three people were confirmed dead early Wednesday after a mud house collapsed Tuesday in Nigeria's northwestern state of Jigawa, an official said.
The building collapsed following torrential downpour in Guri district of the state late Tuesday, according to district official Muhammad Hassan.
The three bodies were found under rubble during rescue operation by the (Jigawa) State Emergency Management Agency officials, he said.
Many houses and farmlands were also destroyed by windstorm in the area, the official told Xinhua. Enditem
