Ghanaian youth midfielder Thomas Boakye showed remarkable scoring prowess as he scored thrice to help ?stersunds FK crash J?nk?pings S?dra 5-0 in the Swedish second-tier on Saturday.
?stersunds FK had their eyes on a second win of the new season and push up the summit as J?nk?pings S?dra came visiting.
And it was the 20-year-old former Right to Dream Academy graduate, who inspired them to the win before 4,123 home crowd.
Boakye hit the opening goal nine minutes before half and grabbed his second in the 61st minute before registering his first career hat-trick with a minute of normal time left.
He received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and drilled a powerful low drive home to carve the opener for Graham Potter?s side.
After English international Jamie Hopcutt had doubled the advantage for ?stersunds, Lindkvist Rasmus? attempt was denied by the post and Boakye arrived just in time to nod home the third.
Boakye then completed his hat-trick in the afternoon with an routine finish a minute from full-time.
The versatile attacker feels delighted about his first career hat-trick.
