Two children were burnt to death when fire gutted their house near the Koforidua Polytechnic last Wednesday.
The children, Mansah Alado, 7, and Prince Atsu, 4, died in the fire outbreak around 11.30 pm.
Three others, namely Atsukpui Alado, 30, a pregnant woman; Kweku Alado and Prince Alado, sustained various degrees of injury and were rushed to the Koforidua Regional Hospital where they are currently on admission.
According to reports, the victims were asleep in the same room when the incident happened and, therefore, the two deceased children could not escape.
The police after combing through the debris saw the bodies of the two children, after which they were conveyed to the Koforidua Hospital for autopsy.
