Udinese have excluded Agyemang-Badu from Inter clash
Italian side Udinese have excluded Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu from their squad to face Inter Milan in the Serie A as a precautionary measure.
The 25-year-old picked a thigh injury during training on Monday and has not been able to train with the Little Zebras.
Udinese medical doctors performed late scan on the ball-battling midfielder and advised manager Stefano Colantuono to rest him for the game.
“Badu had to go through a late fitness test. He had the injury from Monday and was trying to be fit but it was important Udinese rest him for the game,” a source close to Udinese told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Badu has been blistering form for Udinese since the start of the season as he has scored three Serie A goals in 14 games.
