League chairman Kavuma Kabenge

This – Two Bell Super League games are scheduled for today but uncertainty still hangs over whether they will take off. SC Villa vs Victors is the early kick-off before champions URA face Simba, all games scheduled for live coverage on SuperSport TV, at Wankulukuku.

But with 10 club representatives apparently agreeing to “reconstitute amongst themselves and come up with a solution of running the league away from Kavuma Kabenge’s (USL chairman, who Fufa insist they have banned) leadership,” according to Fufa vice president Mujib Kasule, clubs now seem torn apart. “The truth is we are confused now,” admitted URA chairman Ali Ssekatawa, “Things are happening too fast for us.

“One minute you receive an email from USL saying we are playing, after 30 minutes you get another from Fufa saying we have withdrawn the mandate from USL, then another one from NCS saying play on. As clubs we are suffering.” “For the game tomorrow (today), we are going to sit as an executive and decide which course of action to take.”
