Mr. Oduro Nyarko, Chief Executive Officer of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions, Wa All Stars, believes the team is ready for any challenge in the coming season.
Speaking in an interview with the GNA Sports, the veteran football administrator stated that his team has planned a proper preparation process to aid another success in the year 2017 adding that, the scheduled date for the commencement of the 2017 season is perfect for his side.
“The scheduled date for the start of the GPL is good for Wa Allstars, because it will help us to prepare very well.
He said team will travel to Khartoum on the 9th of January and play in a pre-season game with Al Hilal on the 12th January.
According to Mr. Nyarko, the team will then move to Dubai in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from the 13th to 20th January, to continue preparation and was confident they will make the best out of their camping in UAE.
“The players have started training already, but we had to break camp for the holidays. We have since returned and in a serious training, because there is much pressure on us as defending champions.
“We are the champions and people have targeted us but we are ready for all challenges. We have young players who will shock Ghana again next season. We believe in our philosophy and we will definitely live up to expectation
“We still have so many experienced players and we going to beef up the with young ones. We the core of the team and we will do better than last season.” He stated.
