The Nzema East Municipal?Chief Executive (MCE), James?Ata Kakra Baidoo has incurred?the wrath of the youth in the area,?particularly those at Axim, the?municipal capital.

According to sources, the MCE?caused the arrest of a female employee?of the Ghana Revenue Authority?and her daughter in the municipality?on Tuesday, December 30, 2014.
Reports said the daughter of the?GRA cleaner, who is a Junior High?School leaver, purportedly refused to?enter into an amorous relationship?with the MCE.
DAILY GUIDE gathered that?Madam Agnes Mensah, the cleaner?and her daughter were granted police?inquiry bail and asked to report to?the police today, Monday, January 5,?2015.
In an interview with DAILY?GUIDE, Madam Agnes Mensah, popularly?called ?Auntie Agie,? alleged?that the MCE started proposing to?her daughter when the girl was in?JHS two while the MCE was a teacher?in one of the schools in the area.
She indicated that even though?the MCE was not teaching in her?daughter?s school, he spotted the?beautiful girl during one of the football?gala competitions by the schools?in the municipality.
Madame Mensah pointed out that?when the daughter broke the news to?her, she warned her not to give in to?the demands of the former teacher.
She said the daughter took her?advice and completed JHS.
Madam Agnes Mensah told?DAILY GUIDE that her husband was?a former storekeeper at the municipal?assembly and so they lived in one of?the assembly?s bungalows close to?the apartment of the MCE.
?And so after teacher Baidoo was?appointed the MCE, he came to stay?in the apartment meant for MCEs in?the area,? she asserted.
She pointed out that since Hon.?Baidoo was staying close to them, he?always asked the daughter to cook?for him.
?I again warned my daughter not?to do anything for the MCE because?Hon. Baidoo had a wife. But I?implored my daughter not to disrespect?him,? she added.
In August last year when I travelled,?my daughter?s boyfriend took?her out and the MCE spotted them.
The MCE later confronted my?daughter and asked her whether the?boyfriend would be able to give her?GH?200.
Madam Agnes Mensah indicated?that later the girl was explaining?what happened to her twin sister?when all of a sudden the MCE, who?heard their conversation, appeared?on the scene and hurled insults at the?girls.
?The MCE later wrote to us to?vacate the premises because it wasgovernment bungalow. I showed the?letter to my husband and he was furious?at the action of the MCE?.
She added that on Christmas Eve?last year, she traveled with the?daughter to her hometown to celebrate?the Christmas and returned on?Tuesday, December 30.
She said to their surprise they?realized that their wooden bathroom?had been demolished and burnt and?a Moringa tree at the house cut?down.
?In fact I was not happy at all and?started asking who might have done?that. She said all of a sudden some?police men came around and said the?MCE had stated that I had insulted?him so they should arrest me,? he?said.
She noted that some of the youth,?who heard the story, went to bail her.
When DAILY GUIDE contacted?MCE James Baidoo for his comment?on the matter, he wanted to know?who divulged the information to?paper.
The MCE asked the reporter to?travel to Axim.
NDC Angry
It would be recalled that in the?latter part of last year, some irate?youth of the National Democratic?Congress (NDC) at Axim locked the?party office to register their displeasure?against MCE Baidoo for withholding?funds meant for them after?working for the party.
The angry youth indicated that?several efforts to retrieve their?monies from the MCE proved futile.
The youth claimed the MCE used?the funds to construct a mansion after?he assumed office.
