The Osun chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) condoled with former Lagos governor, Alhaji Bola Tinubu,on the death of his mother Alhaja Abibat Mogaji.
This is contained in a statement signed by Kunle Oyatomi, the party’s Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
The statement said that Nigerians, especially those in the Association of Market Men and Women, would miss Mogaji and her good rapport with them.
It further stated that Tinubu?s mother had left behind an indelible legacy in terms of the quality and impact of her leadership and service delivery.
According to the party, the passing of Alhaji Mogaji once again reminds people of the finite nature of human existence on this side of life.
“It tells us in plain language that whoever we are, and whatever we do, somehow, someday, it will be all over.
“Whatever will then be left are reminiscences of how we had lived, either for good or evil, impacting people’s life or destroying it.
“The ACN rejoices, in spite of her passing, that Alhaja Mogaji lived a full life up to her dignified age of 96 years,? the statement added.
Also, a volunteer group, ?De Rauf?, in a statement condoled with the family of the deceased.
The statement signed by Amitolu Shittu, the Director-General of the group, prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
