Accra, Ghana. May 19, 2014: Airtel, known on the Ghanaian market for introducing innovative and customer-centric products and services, is once again giving its customers even more talk-time through a revamped ?Talk Chaw? offer dubbed ?Talk Chaw Ankasa?.
Every customer is given an extremely low and achievable target based on their daily usage trend of the past and once they meet this target, they will get 5 times (500%) Bonus!
Assigned targets can be reached through usage on Voice (on-net, off-net, International) SMS (Peer to Peer, on-net, off-net, International) and Data (Pay As You Go) from one?s main account any time during the day. Bonus airtime would be paid into bonus wallet and can be utilized for Airtel to Airtel calls on the same day it is received as the validity expires every 12 pm midnight of the same day.
Explaining the mechanics of the new offer to the media, the Marketing Director of Airtel Ghana, Manu Rajan, stated that the Talk Chaw Ankasa promo was opened to all Airtel prepaid customers and can be enjoyed without prior subscription.
?Customers can check their daily target by dialing *171#, after which they get to see their target for the day, how much they have already achieved, target yet to be achieved and the balance on free minutes for the day,? he added.
He further stated that the offer was intended to offer loyal customers of Airtel the opportunity to stay in touch with friends and family the whole day without having to spend so much for it.
