The Chief of Akropong Nana Appiah Sarfo Kantanka has again been punched with a fresh charge of an illegal sale of over 15 residential quarters built at Ntensere by KASAGAN company limited to a Chinese company in Kumasi called C.G.C Limited at an estimated cost of One billion old Ghana cedis without?the knowledge of elders of the Asona Royal?family of Ntensere.?

Akroponghene?following a court action taken against him on the above stated act plus?his illegal sale of over 160 plots jointly with Yokohene best known as D.K.C, out of which two have been sold?to Nana K.Gyasi Company Ltd at a cost of GH36, 000 on the 23rd of August 2012 as stated in our early report dated 8th October 2012 has since then bolted and is currently reported to be lodging safely in London.

Nana Appiah Sarfo Kantanka according to a recent development is again alleged to be secretly claiming ownership over 3000 plots of land at Tabere, a sub-town of Ntensere, selling a great portion of it to individuals by the hand of his linguist Nana Amaniampong his ex-driver by way of delegated powers.

The spokesperson for the Asona Royal Family of Ntensere Nana Mensah Bonsu nicknamed Obuor Mensah ,{Otumfuo Bosomfuo} during an interaction with our fraternity has called on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for the immediate arrest, prosecution and? destoolment of Akroponghene and Yokohene for their idiosyncratic act of disrespect for traditional rules and for breaching? the great oath of his Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II invoked in 2009, that refrains them from trespassing stool lands and properties belonging to Ntensere.

“The two parties have grossly shown that they have no room to entertain enough respect for traditional orders set by Asantehene and?it is therefore fit that without any delay, they are thrown out of their respective roles as traditional leaders. It is obvious that they have lost all sense of credibility,” Nana Mensah indicated.

An eight paged document on the chief list of Akropong, from the Archives of Manhyia Palace?dated 1932 to1946 revealed towns like Adankwame, Nkwanwa, Asankraka and Yabi excluding Ntensere as the sub-towns of Akropong excluding Ntensere.

Akroponghene according to Nana Mensah Bonsu on this basis has no right to exercise authority over stool lands and any other property of Ntensere since it doesn’t fall within its jurisdiction.
