Zoom Alliance National Sanitation Still On Course.

The national sanitation task force on its process of attacking filth and giving the Country a new face and clean environment is on course as the people of Kaneshie, James Town and Agbogloshie have received massive clean, desilting and fumigative exercise over the weekend.

The?persistent?continuation of the clean up exercise throughout the Country has generated much impact on the face of the Nation.

The sanitation task force under the Zoom Alliance concept started its weeks clean up exercise from Kaneshie market through to the police station behind the post office and around Melbond Micro finance environs.

Similar exercise was carried out in James Town Beach opposite the James town Mantse palace close to the Lavender Hill as workers of Zoomlion Managements Service Limited clean and tidy up the beach.

Seriousness and effectiveness of the workers on the environment can be determined on how they tackle the sanitation menace across the country.

Speaking to the chairman of the National Sanitation Task Force, Yahaya Yakubu, he explained that, the National Sanitation Task Force was out line by the president to plan and implement activities that will help achieve clean and healthier environment for all.

The exercise was part of their activities; they are supposed to carry out the exercises on weekly basis to ensure that areas with sanitation menace are actually tackled so that they have a better clean environment.

They have acknowledged that one sector or company cannot handle the present sanitation menace face by the country.

In light of this the president has called on all sanitation stakeholders, civil Society, and non governmental organizations, including the public to hands in achieving green and better clean environment, due to that Zoom Alliance is making sure to provide all the necessary logistics to speed up its process and gain clean environment.

Whiles pleading with the general public of their non participation to avail themselves to duty, he also called on them to create community base task force to help achieve whatever the president hope to achieve in this exercise.

Mr. Blay Anderson, the Head of Waste Management (AMA) also reaffirms the assembly?s mandate to keep the environment clean, moving forward and expand to massive education and much enforcement on the sanitation bye-laws which over thousands of people who have violated the laws have been prosecuted.
