Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has been recalled by German side Schalke 04 and joined the pre-season training.
The 24-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem, trained with the Royal Blues in Gelsenkirchen under coach Huub Stevens.Annan was tipped to exit the club after failing to make the grades at the Veltins Arena when he landed at the club in January 2011.He helped Vitesse to secure a qualification spot to play in the UEFA Europa League for the upcoming season.Vitesse are ready to pay two million Euros offer his services on a permanent basis.Annan could still depart the club before the transfer window shuts at the end of August.Previous post: Ghana Duo Abubakar And Baffour Join Sundowns Pre-season
