The Enugu State Police Command on Saturday insisted that there was no bomb explosion in any part of the state.
The statement from the police followed the rumour making the rounds that there was an explosion inside Eke market in Ogurute Enugu Ezike of Igboeze north local government Area of the state last Friday that caused the death of a little baby.
According to the statement issued by the state?s police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, the command?s Anti bomb Operatives who swiftly went to area discovered that the alarm was false.
Amaraizu therefore advised members of the public to go about their normal lawful businesses in the state, assuring that security agencies in the state were working hard to ensure the security of residents of the state
