AshGold goalkeeper Robert Dabuo

AshantiGold are in the market for a new goalkeeper as a backup for Robert Dabuo following the departure Fatawu Dauda to Orlando Pirates.
The current first choice goalkeeper for the Black Stars has completed a move to the South African giants thereby creating a void in the Miners squad.
Robert Dabuo signed from Wa All Stars last year is expected to be the substantive replacement for the departing Duada.
But the club?s Chief Executive Kudjo Fianoo says the former Ghana U20 goalkeeper alone cannot hold the fort in the absence of the experienced Fatawu Dauda.
?We are looking to sign a goalkeeper to fill the void created by the exit of Fatawu (Dauda),? Fianoo told Radio Gold.
?Losing a goalkeeper like him will definitely alter future plans but we saw this coming the very moment he became the first choice goalkeeper for the Black Stars.
?And that is why in the first place we brought in Dabuo but we need another very good goalkeeper to help fill the big shoes of Fatawu.?
AshGold finished 6th in the just ended Ghana Premier League and will be looking to strengthen in all department in the off-season to mount a stronger challenge next season.
