Ghana indeed is blessed with so many creative ideas in terms of school buildings. Some have all the facilities to start the business others on the other hand, have to start theirs from humble structures the moment the idea is conceived. But the questions one may ask is are those school owners able to see their vision through from such a humble beginning?
The answer to this was given by Mrs. Aydren Akaba, the founder and proprietress of Bambino Montessori School. She is also a former business woman who dealt in buying and selling of petty goods.
According to her, when the idea to start the school came, she was scared from but after some motivation from her Auntie Mrs. Veronica Botchway and her love for kids, she was fully convinced she could make it.
She then started the school inside her garage with two pupils in the year 2000. She said ?by the grace of God? and help of her mother and a maidservant, the numbers started increasing from as time went by.
Bambino Montessori School presently has a population of about one hundred and sixty (160) students made up of children from five months to K. G. 2 pupils.
The school is located in a convenient environment: providing the ambience for caring and education little kids. The school is located at New Achimota- Petroleum in the Greater Accra region.
