About forty(40) people in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality have undergone intensive training in entrepreneurship as part of the jobs and skills training project.
Addressing the participants at her maiden visit to the Business Resource Centre, Mrs. Habiba Sumani, Regional Director of Ghana Enterprises Agency(GEA) was enthused about the demonstration of in-depth knowledge by the attendants. She congratulated them for progressing to the intermediate level.
Mrs. Habiba Sumani further urged the participants to value and practicalize the knowledge acquired.

An assurance was given that a grant would be given to participants who would progress to the advanced stage. They were however implored to register their businesses and design invoices and receipts for records keeping and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.
Hon Paul Andoh, MCE for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, appreciated the participants for responding to their call. The facilitators were also commended for their good work.
The MCE further eulogized the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, for partnering with the World Bank in rolling out this program. “This is a testament to the fact that the government cares for the youth”, the MCE stressed.
Additionally, Hon Andoh, remarked that the program will reduce unemployment among the youth thereby increasing access to credit. The attendants were entreated to retain the NPP government in power to continue its good policies.
In expressing gratitude to the organizers, the participants testified to the depth of knowledge acquired and the possibility of enhancing their businesses. In their testimonies, it came to light that the modules were tailored around Marketing, Financial Management, and Business Management. Outstanding participants were presented with certificates.
High-profile dignitaries at the function were Mr. Gordon Yeboah, Regional Accountant, GEA, Nana Prempeh II, Municipal Director, GEA, and Mr. William Ofori Asuming.
