Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Officer will develop and maintain a long-term commercial strategy for the company ensuring that the business looks ahead at the longer-term, strategic opportunities that will provide a step change for the business.

The candidate will drive maximum sales, profitability, growth, and account penetration within the Food and Beverage industry by effectively selling the company’s products and services.

Job Description

· Prospecting for new Business especially catering service (selling food products)

· Seek out and aggressively prospect for new customers and new Business opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure all new businesses for the company

· Ensure that you meet and exceed your set target and all activity standards for presentations, proposal and closing deals

· Grow the Market share of the company within the food industry

· Perform any other duties assigned

Qualification and Requirements

· A minimum of BSc Business Administration or Marketing related

· At least 2 years sales experience in the Food and Beverage industry or similar environment

· Results-oriented, able to work well in fast-paced conditions, strong customer service and sales skills
