Certificate Forgery Syndicate Nabbed In Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command has one Ngozi Orji and nine others over their alleged involvement in selling forged school certificates.

According to a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ebere Amaraizu and made available to Daily Championon Wednesday in Enugu, the suspects were apprehended by the Abakpa Police Division on March 24, following a tip off from members of the public.

According to the statement, stamp seals bearing Academic Affairs unit of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, scanners, desk top computers, amongst others have been recovered from them.

It said the suspects would be taken to court as soon as investigation into the matter was completed.
