The Reverend Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Pastor in charge of the Mount Moriah Congregation of the Presbyterian Church, has called on Christians to share their love with humanity
He said Christmas is about sharing and “we ought to share what we have with others to demonstrate the love of God for mankind. Do not only share the word of God but also share your material possessions, your wealth and your substance with others
Rev Ayim gave the sermon at the Christmas day service on the theme: For Unto Us a Child is born.
He said use the occasion to also share the word of God for God did not look at our sins and sacrificed His son for us.
Rev Ayim also advised members of the congregation to forgive people who have wronged them in the course of the year. “Don’t look at what someone has done to offend you. Forgive. Go and reconcile with each and every one.”
The church also used the occasion to baptize children; Rev Ayim said baptism is a form of initiation into the Christian Family.
He urged parents of the children who were baptised to ensure that they raise the children to know and become good worshippers of Christ.
