Lawyer Abraham Amaliba, a member of the organizing committee of the Daily Press Briefing at the Flagstaff House has explained why Ken Kuranchie and his Newspaper, the Daily Searchlight, have been excluded from the list of media houses invited to cover events at the seat of government.
According to him, Mr.Kuranchie has consistently shown himself as someone who can over-blow things and a threat to relevant and accurate information.
Lawyer Amaliba was reacting to a proposition by Ken Kuranchie that invitations to the Daily Press briefings at the Flag Staff House, must be extended to opposition media houses.
Speaking on Citi FM, the member of the NDC legal team indicated that, Ken Kuranchie and his Newspaper, have been excluded from the list of media houses invited to cover the event for good reasons.
?You saw the foundation of a security post and you said President Mills was building a mansion. So it is dangerous to let you in there because when you see an egg, you would say it is an elephant.
We don?t want such situations because you have consistently made yourself a character who will over blow things. He is a threat to giving out information that is relevant and accurate,? Lawyer Amaliba said.
Lawyer Amaliba also refuted assertions by Ken Kuranchie that the Daily Press briefings was experiencing low patronage.
