The constituency went agog when the President announced the removal of the DCE.
The President sacked MCE Bekoe Assiful and other MCEs some few days before the Christmas festivities but this dis not go down well with the residents especially the youth in the constituency.
The Youth locked up the constituency party office in protest while the constituency.
Meanwhile, the constituency executives also held a press conference to appeal to the President to reinstate the DCE with the excuse that he is hardworking and a unifier.
They believe that NDC as a party will suffer greatly if the DCE is not reinstated before the 2016 elections.
