UNITED NATIONS — The UN Security Council on Wednesday unanimously adopted a resolution, welcoming an agreement between rival Libyan political factions to form a government of national unity.

MAPUTO — The Mozambican authorities confirmed that death toll in the fire in Matola port 10 days ago, due to an attempt to steal fuel from a pipeline, now stood at 17, local media reported on Wednesday.

The state-owned news agency AIM quoted the police spokesperson, Inacio Dina, as reporting that two survivors of the fire, which happened early in the morning before daybreak on Dec. 13, are being treated in hospital, one of them in serious condition. (Mozambique-Fire)
