Winners of the day displaying their silverwares ad souvenirs
A perfect blend of the old and current generations saw 69-year-old Edward Obeng Donkor and in-form E.K. Owusu, 27, emerging tops in the 5th annual G-18 tourney at the Tema Country Golf Club (TCGC) last Saturday.
The duo, representing Chase Petroleum Amphora, recorded a net score of 153 to grab the ultimate prize of two beautifully designed trophies and souvenirs in the competition which has become a major event on the golfing calendar.
Internet Solutions? representatives Fortune Akafo and Paul Guasi teamed up to record 156, three strokes behind the winners, to take the second spot, beating former Minister Felix Owusu-Adjapong, who partnered Scientific Lady, Florence Etwi-Barimah, and represented Harlequin International, 156 net, on count back.
Vincent Coffie and Kwaku Klah, who also represented Internet Solutions finished fourth after recording a 157 score.
Club captain Kwabena Boakye commended participants for throwing their weight behind the competition which is gaining grounds by way of participation.
The 18-Hole event was put together by L?Etage Productions, and it was intended to provide an exciting networking opportunity for CEOs and top-level managers of the sponsoring companies and their guests.
