Two suspected criminals are being held by the police over a robbery attack on a fast-food joint operator at Dichemso, Kumasi.
Kwaku Paul and Kwadwo Anane, reportedly attacked and seized cash of GH?140.00 and a cellular phone from the victim.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kwaku Ampofo Duku, Deputy Ashanti Regional Commander, told a media briefing that the incident happened on Sunday, November 9, at about 2330 hours.
The Police said Isaac Rockson had closed from business and was returning to the house when the two, carrying deadly weapons, accosted him and ordered that he surrendered everything he had on him.
They forcibly removed his cash and phone and as they attempted to escape, he raised the alarm, attracting a police patrol team, that happened to be in the area at the time and the officers arrested them.
ACP Duku said the stolen items had been retrieved and that they would soon be put before court to answer for their crime.
