The ban is effective Wednesday, August 17 to Sunday, September 18 this year, a press release signed by Mr Stephen Tetteh, the Secretary to the Council and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said.

The release said the ban was to pave way for preparations towards this year’s Asogli Yam Festival celebration in September.
