Maxwell Konadu is confident the Black Stars will scale the group B hurdle

Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu says they have their work cut out for them after the Black Stars were handed a tricky draw for next year?s African Cup of Nations.

The Ghanaians have been drawn in group B where they will play against old foes Mali and DR Congo as well as Niger in Port Elizabeth.

The Black Stars are touted as one of the huge favourites to win the title and coach Konadu has no doubt they will scale past the group phase.

?We are going to do our home work well and try to go pass them. Niger is a neighbour and Mali is a powerful in African Football,?  he said

?And so we just need to work very, very hard before we can progress to to the next stage.

?Initially I was very nervous but when the draw came out, it was well balanced. We are all happy with that.?

Ghana placed fourth at the 2012 edition of the tournament held in Gabon and Equitorial Guinea.
