The Reverend Edward Willington Assan Yabbah, the Kwatiri District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost in the Sunyani West District has urged the youth to avoid promiscuous lifestyle.

He said sex before marriage was a grievous sin and a great contributory factor to the high rate of adultery and divorce in the country.

Delivering a sermon on the theme “The Divine Purpose of Marriage” at a Church Service on Sunday at Kwatiri, Rev. Yabbah advised the youth to endeavour to wait on God and go through legitimate means before they married.

That is the surest way God’s divine purpose for the institution of marriage could be fulfilled and established in families, he added.

Marriage, the Rev Minister observed could succeed and be fulfilled if couples remained faithful to each other, prayerful, communicated and share everything together.

He advised parents to mould and bring up their children in a godly manner, and address their grievances in a more responsible way, devoid of unnecessary confrontations especially in the presence of their children.
