Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and Joan Smalls go completely naked for Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2016 campaign. In the black-and-white image taken by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino and posted by Hadid on her , the three models strip down to their birthday suits while embracing one another.
The three beauties wear nothing but “Nearly Nude” sandals, Weitzman’s new block-heel version of his celeb-loved “Nudist” sandal. In a video obtained by , Hadid talks about her love for the brand. “What I love about Stuart Weitzman shoes is they don’t only look good, they’re also very comfortable and that’s very important to me,” she says.
Aldridge, meanwhile, claims that they were comfortable with one another during the steamy shoot because they’re close friends. “We are all friends me, Gigi and Joan. I just love our friendship; our camaraderie. We joke around and goof around. We can be girls and have fun and do our dream job together,” she says. “It’s so nice to have girls that you support each other, lift each other up, make each other better and bring each other up you up. I love that.”
According to a release from the brand, the fact that the three are good friends “made them the ideal casting choice for the campaign, as Stuart Weitzman has always been a common thread in bringing girlfriends together, from shoe shopping to shoe sharing to shoe closet envy.”
